Improving Sciences with Superformula Patterning

Sciences and sustainability are in limbo. The gap between Biology, Newton and Quantum is a patterning gap. If everything is connected, HOW do we include the hidden patterns and the “longtails” in our new, smart-healthy city designs without losing ourselves in correlations?

How can we compare apples with pears and still make it “right” in scientific truth finding?

For applied sciences and healthy solutions, it is not such a problem. The pattern recognizing shows the “sting” and you can take that “biological, transformational sting” out to turn the whole system sustainable and automatically 80% healthier.

Example:

Problem: in our cities of sewer systems, washing detergents transform into glyphosate-related chemicals during the drinking water process. Toxic. Difficult. Polluting and causing problems in the hormone systems of our children. It needs system change.

Solution: the Nature’s Principle “cleaning at the source”.

Superformula: “If you know the nature of the interconnection, you can solve it by transitioning both ends or transitioning the middle transformation moment”. You knot the ends differently together.

  • You can change the chemical formula of the washing liquid to be compatible to your drinking water process

  • You can change the drinking water process to be compatible to the chemical formulas of the washing liquid

  • OR... you can change the transformation moment in the middle

You can put the transformation moment closer to the washing moment: make a halophyte filtering around buildings, inside the sewer, etc. to make the chemicals neutral like water. Stones, plants, they all absorb and transform toxins. Choose of plants means you can use superabsorbers.

In this case, an even better solution is “jumping”. Superformula is derived from Barbara Mc Clintock’s “jumping genes” so the biomimic can be a “jump” from “washing with water to washing with sonic waves and UV light”. No water extraction is an extra benefit.

In the Netherlands, this thought “jumped” into the head of Ad de Raay who created the sonic waves washing machines in the 1990s. The man died, but his thoughts and the energy-efficient biomimics technology is still available in his engineering company in Schiedam.

Kinds of Interconnections

GIELIS Superformula – Generalized Intrinsic, Extrinsic Lengths in Submanifolds – makes sciences true again beyond Newton. Patterns of biomimic interconnections. With Superformula causations and correlations are strictly separated but multiple causations are put in different patterns the currently toxic ones. You can find the work in Genicap, a Brainport company. "Enabling technology for disruptive solutions."

Superformula is a very good tool. One student said: “Superformula shows the pico-related interests in the swarm” and that’s exactly true. Lengths between the elements matter, strings matter, transformation moments matter, membranes or not between the feedback loops matter, and kinds of biological transformations in the system matter.

In sciences, this is the truth of our planet:

Everything is full of interconnections and math formulas. And it helps to think of our planet as a FULL ALL=1. The insect is not skating ON the lake but held upright IN air. There’s no membrane between air and water. Just pressure difference. Physics.

This is a very telling picture to understand the difference between Newton and Quantum.

  • Why doesn’t the insect sink?

  • Would the insect sink when the water would be more volatile?

  • How do the interconnections work between infrastructure and object?

  • In biology, there are never wheels. Too much friction and contact.

  • A snake glides on an air layer. Can we envision a smart-healthy city future without the microplastics of tire wear? Will vehicles slide on light stripes in solar roads? Direct vehicle loading with IoT from road and solar sound screens? No cables? No plugs? Just waves and algorithms?

Some interconnections are straight-forward (linear, order), some are transformative and chaos (such as photosynthesis). Photosynthesis needs a subject (a receiver of light) to create a physics or chemical process. You need something “in between” in the ALL=1, the swarm.

  • Subject diatom (a microalgae) transforms light into oxygen in the sea

  • Subject tree/bush/bamboo grasses transforms light into green matter, sugars, and cellulose

Superformula makes these swarm calculations and patterns easier because the formula is biology, has just a sinus/cosinus, angles and curves, and just a few variables to make the interconnections in the ALL=1. Biomimics do the rest. Mimic patterns for less toxic designs and interconnections.

How can you visualize biomimics as a Fibonacci spiral of PLACE | TIME | SPACE? Turn this picture flat and put gravity and a “pull” on it to understand the tossing and turning of geometries. Our planet has layers. Invisible boundaries such as the sound barrier or recently during the European heat wave, a bubble under which the heat stayed and built up. Heat=electromagnetics, so after a week, the lightning was immense as a release valve.

Spirals and curves are how nature does the math of short tail and long tail.
Spirals and curves are how nature does the math of short tail and long tail.

Superformula can calculate the speed-up of time in space. When speed is higher, the curve is denser, more inward. Until the turn comes and the curve goes outward (centrifugal). For our students, we imagine a vortex like a hurricane together. The small part curves in and down by gravity. The broad part goes outward and jumps particles like hailstones wide and far.

Much is not known yet in physics. The third generation Einstein Telescope will be built most probably in Vaals Netherlands in 2026 to prove more in vacuum. But Abundance Academy does landscapes, always outdoors, always uncontrolled environments. Always reality and simple complexity of what you can DO with it for health and sustainability.

Planet-People-Profit-Prosperity. Multiple Benefits.

Thinking about Math in Grammar Terms & Language Interconnections

Mathematical Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the best tools we have in the 21st century to find hidden patterns and hidden interconnections within the ALL=1 swarms and predict outcomes of chaos-order-chaos-order-chaos-order. Many scientists we interviewed are turning to AI to prove their wave theories and e.g. neurosciences' hidden interconnections.

Nobel prize winning quantum physicist Gerard ‘t Hooft exclaims in Scientific American: “It can’t be that we stop at AI being just a bucket full of % probability”. He even says: “Quantum mechanics is nonsense!” Well, we know that already in biomimics, don’t we?

Julian Vincent showed in in his analysis of how nature finds solutions and how we do with our engineering. 80% difference. And the biggest transition is “transformation of energy”. It makes biomimics so energy efficient. If we assume that in biology energy=information, the data-world will solve this gap and the fact that deer “know” that a tsunami is coming their way.

Geese fly without Google Maps and “feel” the direction. Salmon jump upstream rivers to find their birthplace to lay their eggs. This intrinsic motivation to find their fate, their blueprint, their destiny in life is inherent to homo sapiens too. We are nature.

Some of our students find it difficult to think about patterns and interconnections in geometry and math – they freeze when they see the Superformula in writing – so we also explain in words and languages, not in formulas or in zeros and ones.

Language Instead of Math

The Finnish language is a brilliant example to use. Objects and subjects are interrelated in 15 ways. Many languages need an “in between” by using prepositions. “in” “on” “from”. But Finnish does it different. It changes the endings of nouns, adjectives and pronouns to show HOW they relate to the verb, the subject, and the object.

Three important distinctions:

The object is the DOER

The subject is the RECEIVER – everything is an antenna.

The catalyst is the transformer. A catalyst can be pressure difference, a diatom, a tree/bush, etc. The alchemist. A membrane, hidden pattern, helper who transforms.

In sciences and math, we design palindromes (the mirror) with an in-between or without.

000111-2-111000 etc.

000110010-010011000 etc.

Now, let’s look at the way languages do it. In Finnish, there are 15 cases, and 12 of them are heavy lifters used in daily conversations to handle HOW words physically and conceptually interconnect.

Our brain tends to think in contrast. Bi-polar. But of course, the full spectrum has a whole horizon line. Not one dot. Full spectrum doesn’t do straight lines with beginning and end. Just circles and spirals, curves or sharp angles. And symbiosis can be two sided flows back and forth (giving/receiving) or one sided (parasites).

Let’s look at the Finnish language for design and interrelation patterning education:

1. Core Grammatical interconnections:

-            Nominative (no ending) – a base form typically used for the subject, the doer

-            Genitive (-n) – shows possession or connection. The house. The house’s.

-            Partitive (-a -ta and umlauts) – expresses an incomplete action, an indefinite amount, or an ongoing state

2. Interior Local connection (Inside):

-            Inessive (-ssa) being INSIDE something

-            Elative (-sta) moving OUT OF something

-            Illative (vowel lengthening) – moving into something

3. Exterior local connection (outside/surface):

-            Adessive (-lla) – being ON or AT something

-            Ablative (-lta) – moving OFF of something

-            Allative (-lle) – moving ONTO or TO something

4. State & Role Interconnections:

-            Essive (-na) existing AS a temporary state or role (lääkärinä – as a doctor)

-            Translative (-ski) – changing or transforming INTO a new state. (lääkäriski – becoming (into) a doctor.

Note: the remaining 3 rare/archaic cases that round out the official 15 are the abessive (without), comitative (together with) and instructive (by means of).

In English, the interconnection between the subject and object is determined strictly by word order. “The bear ate the man”. “The man ate the bear”. In Finnish that distinction is flexible and not related to word order.

Interconnection Modelling and Her Use Cases

If we want to progress our understanding of the ALL=1 in various interconnections, we must learn to think beyond cliches. In economics. In society. In physics. In biochemistry. And in democracy designs too, for instance.

Everything is a design. Quantum has a few theories how the future is “calling”, how deer “know, feel” that a tsunami is coming their way. Newton gave us “how the apple falls from the tree”. Quantum gives us the pull up IN our fast-spinning planet. 1600 km/h around herself. 100,000 km/h around the sun. With unseen membranes to keep us glued to the surface.

We can’t FEEL it like deer do or maybe we can. Many women can "feel" it and have telepathy with their kids. Our ear-brain connection keeps us upright and walking straight. But for sustainable systems designs it helps to understand the KINDS of interconnections we can design our smart-healthy cities with.

Supershaping with Superformula, pattern recognition, and interrelation design with just a few geometry variables should have a role in our scientific swarm patterning for sustainable systems.

  • Everything is an antenna in biology – biomimics in IoT and picosatellites (swarms) for cheap data-clouds and “the whole is more than the sum of its parts”.

  • Energy efficiency is a design to help us fight congestion of the networks

  • Energy efficient algorithms help us in the need for smaller data centers that need less water, less cooling, less heating up the planet.

  • AI, hidden patterns (neurosystem), and medical interconnections will help us in our cancer, ALS and MS research.

  • There is already much proof for the interrelations of living soil and plant health (immune system), between living gut microbiome and MS, and the fact that cancer jumps with pressure.

  • Superformula mainly gives us the lengths of quantum jumps related to speed, curves and reflective angles.

We can also imagine that when 2 shapes have a large surface connection and the gravity is showing the direction of water infiltration, we can calculate how much water comes where available for the vegetation and farming.

This shaping is used in e.g. making permaculture wadis (the trenches contour digging in mountains) for infiltration and holding more water in soil and climate adaptation for food production and precision farming (minimizing water extraction).

Conclusion

Superformula “quantifies the pico-related interest of an object and subject in a swarm”. Giorgio Parisi won the Noble Prize of Quantum Physics with his Supershaping, Superformula calculations of a bird swarm.

His work with bird swarms provided a beautiful, real-world model to explain how thousands of individual entities—whether birds, molecules, or economic actors—interact without a leader to form a highly synchronized, collective behavior. Decentralized, distributed designs.

  • How come they can dance so close without collision? Biology knows.

  • Can we design our IoT for no collision on our roads and trainways?

  • Can we design our IoT for energy efficiency by spiraling object and subject around each other like a DNA spiral with a few designed interconnections?

  • Can we loosen our currently toxic interconnections and reconnect the swarm with healthy interconnections that do not accumulate toxicity?

  • Sonic waves washing machines already exist. No water extraction.

  • In Finland, many conference es have been held about dry toilets. “Cleaning at the source” by transformation close to the pollution. No more chemistry and pharma peed and pooped into the rivers and seas.

  • In the 21st century, the century of solutions, it is important to design our way out of trouble.

With our students, we always envision toxic interrelations that are not completely proven yet but still very logical and polluting.

  • Hormone pill peeing into drinking water systems, endocrine systems, and sterility of biological species?

  • Washing liquid glyphosates and the current era of non-genders?

And then we laugh out loud! We can scale up designs of sonic washing machines and halophyte filtering. But we can also envision how stupid current leaders might be the ones doing the work for us, just by being homophobic. Dutch people never are. In my era, I already had children in school who had two dads or two mums. We are a progressive country. Live and let live.

But we laugh out loud when we think that maybe Donald Trump will go environmental when he realizes the sciences interconnection between washing liquids being transformed into glyphosates, endocrine health, and his own homophobics and fear for non-genders.

Or we envision how technology women in Iran and UAE will be at the forefront of our shift from Newton to Quantum, showing their leaders the interconnection between a “horrible western lifestyle”, homophobics, and the environmental destruction of their deserts with washing liquids, antibiotics and chemo being peed into their rivers and sands.

Everybody will go environmental when they realize:

“Healthy people in healthy building in healthy environments”.

Toxicity scales in transformative 4D fractals. 3D and time in lengths, spirals, circles, curves and sharp edges. Health can scale this way too. Everything is a design.

The only thing we can say to mono-language people is: learn to think about math in grammar systems. And use Supershaping Superformula for your next biomimics innovations and your thinking about quantum in vacuum AND in atmospheric conditions of a healthy planet.

Warm regards,

The Abundanism Education Team.
