About

Together with Mike Harps, I'm the maker of this website. Together with many professors, scientists and professional change-maker friends we are the think-and-do-tank Abundanism. The words on this website are mine. The thoughts come from our collective intelligence. Aligned with Gaia.

At this moment, I'm working on the book Abundanism. A biomimicry book with many solutions for our time. Layered with exercises, poetry and rational explanations, it gives an overview of our professional experience. And gives ideas on how to redesign your life. And our human systems in line with our planet.

Adaptive species are thriving species...

And when I'm not writing or putting my hand in the soil to make a difference, I'm swimming in open water. Sea. Lakes. Rivers. I immerse myself in our planet. And enjoy.

Our planet make everything from light (photosynthesis) and sound. And Mike and I are curious beings on a...

Nature-Based Solutions Life
In 2002, I came into regeneration, nature-based solutions, holistic sustainability, biomimicry, and system dynamics. What a mouth full! Why do we make the choices we make as sustainable innovators? Well, we all have different backgrounds, some more technical than others. Most people have a hard time understanding, because they know little about biology, physics, economy or good/bad technologies. Let alone what happened in our industrial era that's too toxic. And what is luckily changing now...
