Dear friends and colleagues,


We have been on a path of paradigm shifts and innovation designs for health and healthy environments for some time now. I have joined this joint journey in 2012. My path has not been linear, I got sidetracked and confused by personal stuff (illness, personal loss, mourning) and also by the illness that kills us all. Complexity overloads. Lost in translation. But... since I have been in formal alliance with Dr. Johan Gielis and the digital translations of modeling since last year, it cleared my view tremendously.


Since then, I explain my students the Nested Loops Method of Biomimetics. Theory and practice.


So, from now on, I will mainly convey to you the data-model-sciences and the practical examples that I have helped built and have been part of. From Past to Present Day Medicine

For 400 years, we have fundamentally misunderstood the human heart. Mainstream science dictated that the heart was a mechanical pressure pump. However, Spanish cardiologist and anatomist Dr. Francisco "Paco" Torrent-Guasp (1931-2005) made a revolutionary discovery that completely overturned traditional medicine.

Since 1628, the medical world strictly followed the theories of English physician William Harvey.

How hot air rises in a building and gives ventilation without machines by sucking up and letting out at the top? The solar chimney of the Venlo City Hall architect example in 2015? It is a great example of how a building is the skeleton and the air inside is like blood. A flow of breath. Healthy breath for healthy humans.

Instead of a crude squeezing motion, the helical heart moves in a highly coordinated wringing and rotating twist.

After he left his director's job, he had more time to explain his Nature's Math to me.
