This book by Varela and Maturana about autopoiesis is the basics of what we say in this website. Autonomy is necessary for survival of our species. We need boxed although nature is not boxed. Nature designed us with limited eye sight, limited hearing. This is a biological book about independence into interdependence. Enjoy the read, although it is philosophy and a bit challenging, even for biomimicry students.
